Our Teachers

Our TAGteach™ certified staff consists of highly regarded professional dancers and performing artists, each with exceptional teaching experience. Our teachers cultivate enthusiasm in our students through their own joy in dance and out of their sincere love for children (we TAG, we don’t nag!).

Julie Joseph

Julie Joseph is currently a contributing member of DrumatiX, a tap dance and drumming company, Boston Tap Company, and Sasso and Company, a modern dance company, all based in Boston. She has also worked as a choreographer for OnStage Dance Company during their thirteenth season. A dean’s listed and cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, where she majored in Psychology and Hispanic Studies, she was the artistic director, dancer, and choreographer for Dance Ensemble, in addition to being an executive board member, dancer, and choreographer for the Adagio Dance Company. She has been a choreographer, vice president and stage manager for the Liquid Latex Festival at Brandeis, where she choreographed the piece “In My Head,” which received formal recognition/review in the New York Times. She has also performed as a back-up dancer for SNL comedian Hannibal Buress as a part of his college tour and has worked with North End Music Production Company as a choreographer for their summer camp. Julie is excited to be joining the faculty at A Dancer’s Dream with an aim to inspire and expand our dancers’ view of rhythm and sound!
